STEP 1
IONIZATION - Enhancing the proven process of ionization, the TLC Envirotech System places the proper amount of copper and silver in the water to provide environmentally safe water. Copper is the most powerful algaecide known to prevent algae. Silver has been used for years to kill bacteria for the purification of drinking water and to kill Legionella bacteria in hospitals throughout Europe. The copper and silver ionization softens the water by precipitating the calcium and magnesium minerals which bind them together to form a larger solid for filtration.

STEP 2
FILTRATION - The filtration process of our patented system technology filters the conductivity out of the water. The TLC Envirotech System’s filter traps the solids left behind by the normal evaporation due to the operation of the cooling tower. Without the accumulation of solids in the water, the conductivity level remains under control thus eliminating the entire blowdown process previously necessary for conductivity control.

STEP 3
AUTOMATION - The TLC Envirotech System’s PLC microprocessor automatically controls our ionization and filtration process on a continuous basis allowing us to communicate with the system from our Dallas service center. Analysis of the system’s performance is conducted on a 24/7 basis. Daily monitoring enables us to optimize the performance of the system to give our customers the best possible water for the needs of their operation.

STEP 4
TOWER CLEANING - After the last cleaning of the tower, the TLC Envirotech System will prevent scale from forming and algae from taking over the bottom of the pan and tower fill. Sediment such as dirt, sand and silt is removed by our jet spray system and filtration thus eliminating the buildup of sludge in the pan of the tower which otherwise serves as a food source for the bacteria and micro organisms in the water. With TLC Envirotech assuming the responsibility for cleaning the tower, budget savings is achieved with the elimination of these labor costs.
